Abstract

AbstractAntinuclear antibodies support the diagnosis of autoimmune myositis and systemic sclerosis. Recently, a new anti-synthetase antibody has been described as well as several new autoantibodies in systemic sclerosis. Immunoprecipitation mass spectrometry played a decisive role in uncovering these new antigenic targets. In this short report, novel autoantibodies (and their HEp-2 indirect immunofluorescence profile) are summarized.
