Abstract
Notice of withdrawal: The following article from European Journal of Clinical Investigation, ‘Association of interleukin‐18 gene polymorphism with Takayasu arteritis in Chinese Han population’ by Dan Wen, Chang‐Sheng Ma, Xian‐Liang Zhou, published online on 1st April 2013 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been withdrawn by agreement between the authors, the journal Editor‐in‐Chief, John P.A. Ioannidis and John Wiley and Sons Ltd. The withdrawal has been agreed due to the authors' request to add two coauthors to the article, following acceptance by the Editorial Office. The authors provided no evidence that the additional names qualified as valid authors of the article as specified in the journal's author instructions and by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
