Abstract

This paper introduces the thought of Market segmentation. This paper presents that labor market can be subdivided into four different types of market under the framework of the dual binary labor market segmentation and analyzes the difference of wage determination mechanism between different market and the causes of that. In particular, this paper analyzes the wage determination of migrant workers in the secondary labor market as a typical case. This study has an important theoretical enlightenment on our understanding the causes of the gap of income distribution at present.
