Abstract

In the context of economic globalization and financial crisis, local industrial clusters urgently need to upgrade in order to achieve sustainable development. Based on market power model of product differentiation analysis and case study of Zhuji pearl industry cluster, we concluded that: the enterprises of industrial cluster can reduce the competitive strength of industry clusters to promote sustainable development, to achieve the transformation and upgrade of industrial clusters by adopting product differentiation strategy when industrial clusters evolve to a certain stage of life cycle of industrial clusters.
