Abstract

Physical environment is the work and live material basis for enterprise employees. Both companies and employees are increasingly concerned about the physical environment with the social development and continuous improvement. In this paper, we conducted an empirical study of enterprises in 12 provinces of China on the basis of the theoretical analysis. Correlation analysis showed that the physical environment has a significant impact on employee satisfaction, and the employee satisfaction and performance also have a direct link, thus proving there was a significant correlation between the physical environment and performance of employees. Physical environment is the basic guarantee to maintain physical and mental health of employees, improve performance, and constitute the core competitiveness of enterprises.
