Abstract
This paper does an empirical research on school production efficiency of educational resource in chinese compulsory education, using the DEA model, Tobit model and other statistical methods. Results show that: (1) The school production efficiency of educational resource in the middle-eastern area of China is not satisfactory. Therefore, it is a feasible way to improve school production efficiency; (2) There are big differences in school production efficiency scores among different region, urban-rural and different school type; (3) The proportion of full-time teacher with qualified education, the control degree of school under government and the entent of school competition have statistically significant effects on school production efficiency of educational resource.
