Abstract

According to the hypothesis of Romer(2001), this paper computes the growth drag of land, water and energy resource are 0.00651, 0.00167 and 0.00883, respectively. The total growth drag of China is 0.01701, it means that economic growth of China each year reduce 1.701% due to the limit of land, water and energy resources annually. The existence of growth drag of energy and water shows that the part of energy and water resources are exhausted in China's economic growth and it must be fully aroused concern in the long time. The emphasis must be transferred to technological progress for sustainable growth, and then establish gradually technological progress and innovation in the mainstream of conservation-oriented economy.
