Abstract
The chromosome numbers of five species of Austraiian acavacean molluscs are recorded. In Anoglypta launcestonensis 2n = 52; in Caryodes dufresnii 2n = 54; in Pedinogyra hayii, Pygmipanda kershawi, and Hedleyella falconeri 2n = 58. Chromosome numbers and reproductive anatomy are discussed in relation to the taxonomy of the group.
