Abstract

Teaching listening comprehension requires an approach and techniques different from those used in the teaching of the other language skills. A great variety of teaching devices for teaching and testing listening comprehension has been developed in our Hebrew program.6 These devices are presented to the teachers at our monthly in-service sessions and in the course of the years these suggestions have been improved and refined by the actual classroom experience of our teachers.
