Abstract

A subset of Nyctimystes is defined as the Nyctimystes narinosus species group and is diagnosed by common morphological features including a network eyelid venation, brown dorsal colouration and, in the males, vocal sacs. Two new species are described from southeast New Guinea and assigned to that group.
