Abstract

All specimens here reported on are deposited in the Texas Cooperative Wildlife Collection, Department of Wildlife Science, Texas AM linear measurements, in millimeters. Standard body measurements (total length, length of tail, hind foot, and ear) were made in the field by the collectors, as were measurements of embryos and testes. All other measurements were made as follows: skull length, includes upper incisors and is the greatest possible length for a given skull; occipito-basal length, from posterior border of occipital condyles to anterior border of upper incisors; cranial breadth, greatest breadth of cranium dorsad to otic and mastoidal region; interorbital constriction, least transverse dimension of cranium in orbital region; maxillary toothrow, from posterior border of last molar to anterior border of canine; mandibular toothrow, from posterior border of last molar to anterior border of canine. Lengths of forearm and metacarpals include the carpals.
