Abstract
In this study, the Phrynocephalus specimens, caught in Igdir (NE Turkey) was examined in terms of pholidosis, morphometric measurements, coloration and pattern. Detailed information was given about the biotopes of the species, their choices of habitat and old and new locality records where the species was detected. According to some morphological features, Northeastern Turkey populations should be included in the subspecies P. helioscopus horvathi .
