Notes on Contributors Christopher J. Arthur taught philosophy for 25 years at the University of Sussex. He is the author of Dialectics of Labour: Marx and his Relation to Hegel (1986, Basil Blackwell). He edited and introduced: Marx and Engels, The German Ideology , (1970, Lawrence & Wishart); Marx’s Capital: A Student Edition (1992, Lawrence & Wishart); Friedrich Engels: A Centenary Appreciation (1996, Macmillan); and (with G. Reuten) The Circulation of Capital: Essays on Volume Two of Marx’s ‘Capital’ (Macmillan, 1998).
