The flowers of N. carvalhoi Engl. are larger. TANGANYIKA. Creek near Dar-es-Salaam, March 1940, Vaughan 2946 (EA): shrub above highwater mark, rare, flowers white. Korogwe-Handeni road, 390 m., 14 Jan. 1954, Faulkner 1333 (EA, K): large bush with pure white strongly scented flowers, common on forest margin.
