Abstract

In the issue of October 1952, pages 707 to 712, there is a paper entitled “The circulation of Lake Mendota” by R. A. Bryson and V. E. Suomi. The closing line indicated that it was originally received on February 6, 1950, but this is in error. An earlier paper entitled “Short time variations in temperature in Lake Mendota” by James L. Verber, R. A. Bryson, and V. E. Suomi was received on February 6, 1950, but this was subsequently returned for modification. The paper received on January 10, 1952, while embodying some of the material of the earlier paper, was not, in essence, a revision of that paper. In the issue of February, 1953, in the paper by Carl I. Aslakson, on page 9, Figure 7, at top and bottom are indicated 70° as the longitude. These should read 79°.
