Jean-Robert Armogathe : A note on the society's roman archives. A review of the documents in the Society's Archives in Rome reveals the comparative lack of extant archives for 18th-century France and Spain. The author gives details of existing documents concerning France, including a rich section on missions and the important series of catalogues of Provinces.
