Abstract
Abstract The uranium mineralization of the Saint-Pierre region consists of francevillite- impregnated fluviatile Oligocene sands deposited in a basin forming part of the regional Permo-Carboniferous coal-bearing trough developed in the crystalline basement complex of the Central Massif, France. The mineralization is considered syngenetic, and was probably controlled both by climatic and topographic conditions.
