Abstract

In this article we offer a biographical revision of the sculptor Marcelino Roldan Serrallonga; we study his artistic personality at the context of sevillian sculpture in the XVIII century; we analyse his production and, finally, wc increase his catalogue with a unknown work: the Virgen de la Soledad vyhich he maked in 1724 for the altarpiece of the Cristo del Perdon in the Cathedral of Seville.
