Abstract

In this text the author proposes to read κeκινημένος instead of νeνικημένος printed by B. Niese. Although the former reading is a lectio facilior it must be selected because, a ) is a terminus technicus of the Hellenic tradition on mantic inspiration; b ) Josephus is inserted in this tradition. The proposed reading fits very well with Josephus’ eclectic ideas on inspiration.
