Abstract

AbstractThe aim of the article is to trace the German‐Swedish relations at the University Greifswald in the 18th and 19th centuries. Ch. E. Weigel translated many books and papers of famous Swedish chemists. During the periode from 1775–1815 many Swedish students staid in Greifswald. An other professor of chemistry in Greifswald, F. L. Hünefeld, was as a student by J. J. Berzelius. This paper analyzes the letters of these two scientists.
