Robert Kalina (left), Publisher of the Canadian Respiratory Journal, with the 2013 winner of the Dr Norman L Jones Award, Dr Manish Joshi, who, with Thomas F Monson and Gail L Woods, authored ‘Use of interferon-gamma release assays in a health care worker screening program: Experience from a tertiary care centre in the United States’ (Can Respir J 2012;19[2]:84-88)

This award, sponsored by Pulsus Group Inc, was presented at the recent Canadian Respiratory Conference held in Quebec City, and carries with it a cheque in the amount of $1,000 and a piece of Canadian art
