Abstract

We explicitly show that, in the context of a recently proposed two-dimensional dilaton gravity theory, energy conservation requires the ``natural'' Killing vector to have, asymptotically, an unusual normalization. The Hawking temperature ${T}_{H}$ is then calculated according to this prescription.
