Abstract

Uroflow parameters were measured for 30 pediatric subjects who had voided in their own home setting. Maximum and average flow rates for the home group were compared to the uroflow parameters of a normal pediatric group of 1,014 subjects who had voided in a clinical setting. Generally, the 336 uroflow observations were in the norm of the uroflow nomogram based on the outpatient clinic study. However, we observed that larger subjects voided larger volumes and had higher maximum flow rates than the clinic group but there was not much difference with respect to average flow rate.
