Abstract

Anemia is a common condition in patients with thyroid disorders. This paper focuses on demonstrating that changes in hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit, red blood cell count and erythrocyte indices influence the development of this pathology. The reduced half-life and decreased erythropoietin production of red blood cells and proliferation of blood cell precursors in the bone marrow made it possible to establish a relationship between the patient's symptoms and the prevailing laboratory findings between anemia and hypothyroidism.
