Abstract

Comprehensive analysis of the influence of a weak in-plane field on the dynamics of a planar domain wall in a uniaxial ferromagnet with a small quality factor has been carried out. The peculiarities of the domain-wall movement in both subcritical Hz<Hw regimes and supercritical regimes of the domain-wall movement are analyzed. Numerical calculations for yttrium-iron-garnet-like material have been carried out. It is shown that the influence of the in-plane field which is parallel to the domain wall is more pronounced than the influence of the field which is normal to the domain wall for a given type of magnetic material considered.
