Physical examination revealed scrotal redness and swelling. Blood tests showed leukocytosis with a left shift. Pelvic radiograph revealed subcutaneous air over the scrotum and left perineum region (Fig. 1). Under the impression of Fournier’s gangrene, computed tomography (CT) scan of the pelvis was performed.
