Abstract

Standard treatment of patients with chronic infrarenal occlusion of the abdominal aorta is surgery. This is associated with a significant complication and a mortality rate. A therapeutic alternative is the complete percutaneous stent-assisted reconstruction of the infrarenal aorta and the aortic bifurcation.
