Nonrigidity in the isomers of osmium cluster Os3(.mu.-H)2(CO)9(CNBu-tert). Structure of the green isomer

Abstract

Rapid heating of HOs 3 (μ)-H)(CO) 10 )(CNBu t ) in hexane produces Os 3 (μ-H) 2 (CO) 9 (CNBu t ) as the green isomer. The structure has been determined by X-ray crystallography: space group P2 1 /n with a=11.341 (2) A, b=12.106 (2) A, c=16.225 (2) A, β=108.43 (1) o , V=2113.3 A 3 , Z=4: R=0.034 for 2044 reflections
