Abstract

In this paper, we demonstrate numerically that T1O2 microparticles can exhibit a destructive mode interference in the range 1–3 THz. Resonantly strong destructive interference of the toroidal and electric dipole contributions to the scattered field was achieved by a geometry tuning. An anapole mode can be observed as a composition of electric and toroidal dipole moments.
