Abstract

Thanks to the spread of the Delta variant and vaccination levels plateauing, much of the country is still not ready to open up and return to normal, according to public health officials. Among other things, this means that, contrary to their hopes and cautious optimism, many—if not most—nonprofits may have to hold their board retreats virtually this year, holding off on in‐person gatherings until infection rates ease.
