Abstract
Non-photochemical hole burning is observed in the mixed molecular crystal pentacene in benzoic acid. The homogeneous linewidth is obtained from photon echo measurements. Hole burning is monitored wrth absorption spectrometry and photon echo detection. Spontaneous hole filling is observed and the rate of hole filling is reported.
