Abstract

Testing of two populations, which differ in their location and scale parameters simultaneously, has applications in the fields such as biomedical, climate change, stock market, engineering, etc. To address this problem, we proposed a nonparametric simultaneous test for the two-sample location-scale problem and obtain its distribution. Two real life examples, one in the field of biomedical and other in the field of climate change are performed to see the working of the proposed test. Power of the proposed test is calculated by Monte-Carlo simulation technique.
