Abstract

ABSTRACT In this article we consider estimating the bivariate survival function observations where one of the components is subject to left truncation and right censoring and the other is subject to right censoring only. Two types of nonparametric estimators are proposed. One is in the form of inverse-probability-weighted average (Satten and Datta, 2001) and the other is a generalization of Dabrowska's 1988 estimator. The two are then compared based on their empirical performances.
