Abstract

The nonlocal optical potential for elastic scattering, used by Perey and Buck for neutrons, is applied to protons. Differential cross sections and polarization for various elements are calculated in the energy range of 7 to 22 MeV. With nonlocal parameters very similar to those obtained for neutrons the experimental data can be fitted very well.
