Abstract

Free vibration of cantilever nanobeam has been investigated with the help of Eringen's Nonlocal Elasticity Theory. Nonlocal effect on boundary conditions have been taken into account. Variational energy formulation of nanobeam has been carried out for obtaining the nonlocal governing equation of motion and boundary conditions. Present model has been compared with the previous models. Enhancing phenomena in free vibration of cantilever nanobeams have been discussed with the help of nonlocal boundary condition effects.
