Abstract
To realize on-line detection of biological parameters in fermentation process, a method of nonlinear state estimation for fermentation process based on continuous-discrete Cubature Kalman Filter (CD-CKF) is proposed. The nonlinear state estimation is realized by analyzing the model of fermentation process and applying the CD-CKF which takes use of Gaussian approximation filter approach to update system state and covariance. Then, the implementation steps of the algorithm are given. The experimental results show that the proposed method has high estimation accuracy when dealing with the on-line estimation of fermentation process.
