Abstract
The interaction of a relativistic electron beam with the electromagnetic field in a periodic electrodynamic system is investigated. Nonlinear nonstationary equations and the corresponding boundary conditions are formulated for the case of interaction close to the Brillouin zone boundary. Some results of numerical experiments with such a system are formulated.
