Abstract

Abstract This paper introduces a new control strategy for induction motors. The control law is based on one hand on an open-loop reference control which allows to obtain perfect tracking for rotor speed and rotor flux, since outputs are planned, and on the other hand on a closed-loop strategy based on PI controllers for the stabilization around the desired trajectories. This innovative structure ensures rotor speed and flux tracking despite uncertainties on resistance and load torque variations. Experimental results are given to illustrate the originality and feasibility of this control.
