Abstract
The results of a hydrodynamical model which accounts for the presence of stimulated Raman and Brillouin scattering instabilities, and nonlinear coupling between Langmuir and ion waves described by Zakharov equations will be discussed. The model for hot electron production in the localized Langmuir waves will be also described.
