Abstract

A new type of nonlinear magnetic soliton-like excitation (nonlinear interface spin wave), localized in the vicinity of the interface between two semi-infinite ferromagnets, is investigated in the framework of the phenomenological approach. The excitations are shown to have no linear analogy. The results are generalized for the two-sublattice model of ferrimagnets.
