Abstract
The authors investigate a nonlinear interaction of the type of wave generation at double frequency at the input of a beam into a semi-bounded plasma. Amplitudes of the waves at double frequency have been found. Absorption of the energy of these waves by the plasma can exceed — even in case of a weak nonlinearity — the energy absorption at the expense of waves with the basic frequency.
