Abstract

The hydrostatic transmission system with secondary regulation was a nonlinear system. Hence, its model was described via Volterra series. And its Generalized Frequency Response Function (GFRF) was achieved through iterative method. The linear controller was designed to make the system stable. Then, the nonlinear H infinity controller was worked out using nonlinear control strategy in frequency domain. The simulation results show that this system with H infinity controllers not only is free from the system steady error and overshoot, but also does well in rejecting disturbances.
