Abstract

An argon filled hollow fiber with metal coating on the inner glass surface has been used for nonlinear ellipse rotation of femtosecond optical pulses at 800 nm. Pulse contrast can be achieved using this waveguide with higher transmission compared with a fused silica waveguide.
