Abstract
We report a set of experimental results on third harmonic generation at microwave frequencies in YBa 2Cu 3O 7 single crystals near T c. The harmonic signal is investigated as a function of the intensity and orientation of the dc magnetic field. We show that investigation of nonlinear microwave emission may afford an alternative way to study the upper critical field and crystal anisotropy.
