Abstract

High Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) has been a crucial problem in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Suppress the PAPR of OFDM signals is expanded to minimize the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) curve as the target, but the specific curve which decreases or which points to get the best results is difficult. At the same time, there is no uniform standard to choose which probability threshold is the most influential factor for the performance of the power amplifier. In this paper, we not only consider the effect of a very small number of large signal on the system, but also consider the impact of a large number of medium signal to the system. Proposed maximum high power amplifier (HPA) efficiency for the purpose of the PAPR which contains nonlinear correction of digital predistortion. Computer simulation and analysis, we have the highest nonlinear power amplifier efficiency based on PAPR nonlinear correction scheme is better than the conventional PAPR correction scheme.
