Abstract

We have obtained self-consistency conditions on the coupling constants for meson-meson scattering in a dual resonance model. We have made use of the relations between the total cross section and inclusive cross section for obtaining bootstrap conditions implied by unitarity. The coupling constants ${G}_{{K}^{*}{K}^{*}\ensuremath{\pi}}$ and ${G}_{{A}_{2}\ensuremath{\rho}\ensuremath{\pi}}$ are of the right order of magnitude when compared with the experimental results.
