Abstract

Nonlinear behavior of the free-running BARITT diode oscillator has been observed. Discontinuous changes in oscillation frequency and output power occur as the bias current changes. These non-linearities have been investigated in coaxial and waveguide oscillators and are caused by device and circuit interactions.
