Abstract

The temperature variations of linear and nonlinear AC susceptibilities, χ′ 0 and χ′ 2 , have been measured for the antiferromagnet-base reentrant-spin-glass system Mn 0.60Mg 0.40TiO 3. A divergence-like peak is observed in the temperature variations of χ′ 2 in the vicinity of the reentrant transition temperature. Although the nature of the reentrant transition is still not understood very well, this singularity seems to suggest that the reentrant transition is a genuine cooperative phenomenon of spins.
