Abstract

Turbulence in the earth's atmosphere is a major concern when looking at objects in Space. This paper will focus on the atmospheric effects on incoming light from heavenly bodies, and use image restoration estimator to restore the formed nonisoplanatic image. Because of its turbulent nature, the atmosphere introduces the Kolmogorov phase onto the incoming light. In this paper, we use two layers of Kolmogorov phase to get the atmospheric turbulent effects and form the nonisoplanatic image. We use two nonlinear restoration estimators for image restoration.
