Abstract
There is a sturdy body of evidence that exercise radionuclide studies are both more sensitive and more specific than the exercise ECG in the diagnosis of suspected coronary disease. The two major radionuclide diagnostic-prognostic techniques used for coronaiy disease—perfusion imaging of myocardial blood flow and cardiac blood-pool imaging—are reviewed.
